Do you actually come to me?

Yes. That is the whole model. Home, workplace or carpark, at a time you choose. There is no workshop to visit.

What if there is no tap or power point?

Both are workable — tell us on the quote form. Without water we bring our own or use a rinseless method; without power we run an inverter or generator. What causes problems is finding out on arrival.

Can you work in an apartment carpark?

Usually. We need the height clearance, the bay arrangement and any gate code or permit in advance. Some buildings want the body corporate notified first — worth a quick check with your building manager.

Will every scratch come out?

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. Light swirls and wash marring largely come out with machine correction. Anything that has gone through the clear coat cannot be levelled safely, because there is a finite amount of clear coat and removing more of it than the panel can spare causes a far worse problem than the scratch. We identify those before starting.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

It depends on the product and, more than people expect, on how the car is washed afterwards. Whatever goes on your car, you get the manufacturer’s stated durability in writing along with the maintenance conditions attached to it. What a coating does not do is make paint scratch-proof or protection permanent.

My car looks dull. Has the paint faded?

Usually not. What has happened is thousands of fine scratches in the clear coat above the colour, scattering light instead of reflecting it. The colour is intact underneath. That is what correction addresses, and it is why a car can look years younger without any paint being applied.

How often should I have it done?

Maintenance detailing every four to eight weeks keeps a good car good. Correction is not a regular service — done properly and maintained sensibly, you should not need it again for years. We would rather sell you the maintenance than the correction twice.

Is it cheaper than an automatic car wash?

No, and it is worth being blunt about that. An automatic wash is cheap because spinning brushes drag grit across your paint — that is where swirl marks come from. Three years of those washes is what a correction detail exists to undo. The cheap option was never free; the cost was deferred.

Do I have to be there?

Not for the whole job, but we want you there at the end so we can walk the car with you in good light.

What happens if it rains?

On an exposed site we reschedule rather than do compromised work, and rescheduling for weather costs you nothing.

Do you take a deposit?

On Premium and Clinical, 25 per cent, because they take a day or more and hold a slot that cannot be resold at short notice. It comes off your final invoice and it is refunded in full if you cancel with 48 hours’ notice — or if we cancel for any reason, including weather. The full terms are on the cancellations page.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or PayID with no surcharge, or by card. A tax invoice with the GST shown separately either way.
