The argument
The colour has not faded. The surface has.
A new car's finish is not paint. It is a thin clear coat, flat and uncontaminated, reflecting light in one direction. Everything that happens after delivery puts fine scratches into that layer: automatic car washes, dry towels, road film, tree sap, brake dust, UV.
Light then scatters instead of reflecting, and the car reads dull. Owners assume the colour has gone. It has not. The surface it sits under has.
Detailing at this level is not washing. It is chemically and mechanically removing what has bonded to the surface, levelling the clear coat back to flat, and then sealing it — so the process starts again from as close to day one as the paint will safely allow.

Decontamination
Iron fallout and tar are dissolved chemically; what is left bonded to the surface is drawn off mechanically with clay under lubricant. Polishing a contaminated panel grinds that contamination into the clear coat, so this comes first, always.

Correction
Machine polishing levels the clear coat so light reflects in one direction again. Clear coat is finite and does not grow back, which is why depth readings are taken before a machine touches the car. Scratches deeper than the clear coat cannot be polished out safely — where that is the case, you are told before we start rather than after.

Protection
A sealant or ceramic coating over corrected paint slows the return of what was just removed and makes maintenance washing far less damaging. Durability depends on the product and on how the car is washed afterwards, so both are stated in writing with the aftercare plan.

We come to you
Home, workplace or carpark. We ask about water, power, cover and access beforehand so the job is not aborted on arrival.
Inspect it before we leave
We walk the car with you, then invoice. Correction work comes with a written aftercare plan and a maintenance wash schedule.

What people ask before booking
Do you actually come to me?
Yes. There is no workshop to visit — the van, the water and the power come to the car. Apartment carparks are fine as long as the height clearance and access are confirmed first.
What if there is no tap or power point?
Say so on the quote form. Without water the wash method changes; without power the machine work needs an inverter or generator. Both are workable — an unexpected discovery on the day is not.
Will every scratch come out?
No, and anyone promising that is guessing. Light swirls and wash marring largely come out. Anything deeper than the clear coat cannot be levelled safely, and we identify those before starting so nothing is a surprise afterwards.
How long does the protection last?
It depends on the product and on how the car is washed afterwards. Whatever is applied to your car, the manufacturer's stated durability and the maintenance conditions attached to it are given to you in writing.
